When I was a kid growing up, music was the escape. That's the only thing that had no judgments. You know, you put on a record, and it's not going to yell at you for dressing the way you do. It's going to make you feel better about it.
— Marilyn Manson.
My main genres at the moment are rock, post-punk, darkwave, instrumental, pop, and various subgenres. I identify with the emo and goth subcultures, though I admit I don't often dress the part sadly.
I've always been a fan of rock, but I never really discovered emo
until about two years ago through the internet. As for goth, I introduced to the subculture through Of Herbs & Altars again about two or more years ago, which is what made me really fall down the rabbit hole.
